Hi there, and welcome to Maker Market Collective!
I'm a proud small business owner based in Mississauga, running ID Inspired Designs and ProcrastaQueen — two ventures that let me share my creative passion & personality. After spending time as a vendor myself, I noticed a growing number of Mississauga small businesses — but very few spaces where we could gather, connect, and showcase our work in person. That inspired me to start organizing community markets — vibrant, local events where makers like us could meet, network, support one another, and truly become part of the community fabric. But I didn’t want it to stop there. As these community markets grew, so did the demand for something more permanent — a space that small business owners could call home year-round. That’s why I decided to open a shop: a storefront dedicated to helping home based businesses sell their products consistently, without the overhead of running a full-time store alone. It’s a place where our community can shop local, discover something new, and support local businesses that make our city unique. There’s a lot of exciting things planned for the future, and I can’t wait to share them with you. Whether you’re a fellow business owner, a local shopper, or someone who just loves supporting small businesses — I hope to see you at one of our events, or in-store at the Collective!
